The both trundle bed with bookcase headboard options presented above look similar. The main different is the drawer's position. The left-side one comes with 3 drawers below trundle bed while the right-side one is above.
Now, let us have a look in details of each trundle bed with bookcase headboard. The left-side one features black finish and the headboard has six shelves. It comes with 12 slats for twin bed and 12 slats for twin trundle.
There is a customer mentioned: "This bed is a bit higher than we thought it might be, but of course the height is directly dependent upon the height of the top mattress and we have a nine inches on top. The backside that is not seen in the product photo is open. In most cases this is no problem as trundle beds are often against a wall, but we chose to put it in middle of room and have custom made a backing for the backside. We are very happy with the product. It is solid with a lovely finish."
On the other hand, the right-side unit is constructed from solid pine. The headboard with 5 shelves (there is big one in the middle) offering plenty of storage space for items such as books and alarm clock.
This trundle bed with bookcase headboard is tested and certified to meet the ASTM 1427-07 regulations set forth by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Slat kit is included with the bunk bed making it mattress ready.
"The drawers were assembled and the bed was easy to put together. The drawers have metal runners and solid wood bottoms. It is well made and looks great. Only wish that I had been able to get two sets of drawers, and I am looking for a source to purchase the extra drawers." said by a customer.
