Wield your iron pickaxe to defeat the roaming zombies, then mine the gold ore and grab the chest containing wheat and redstone. But watch out. Zombies can spawn anywhere!
The package includes 3 minifigures with assorted accessories: Steve and 2 zombies. The Dungeon features a spawner with rotating function, secret opening wall where zombies can spring a surprise attack, chest with wheat and redstone elements, 3 buildable torches, brick-built cactus, moss stone block element and a gold ore element. Sand-colored roof section can be removed and added to bottom section to enlarge the playing area or rebuilt into a set of stairs for exiting the dungeon.

That's right! This was a present for my husband for his 31st birthday. He is a kid at heart, Minecraft fanatic, and LEGO lover since a child. This was a no-brainer. My older children all wanted to help him build it.
My husband has been buying LEGO's for decades, and has recently begun buying them on Amazon. Amazon rarely has LEGO's on any sort of sale (usually it may be PRIME for 1% off retail), and I don't recall the LEGO brand every being on lightning deal. Having said that, if price is your number one concern, you may find it for cheaper at retailers that have sales (I know Toys R Us runs Buy One, Get One Half Off at times), but it may still be cheaper here after paying tax at the store or if you receive a discount for having the Amazon Prime Store Card.
The set includes 219pcs, including two Zombies, Steve, and his pickaxe. My husband was most excited that this was the first set to include a spawner! The set also includes a spinning mechanism to make the mini zombie inside the spawner spin. The LEGO minecraft sets also include build ideas near the back of the instructions on how to modify the build. However, this manual has one idea - using 5 blocks to make sand stairs to the spawning room. Pretty weak addition, and for those who play minecraft, you generally don't find spawners 3 blocks underground.
PROS:

- Compared to other sets at similar price, this one has a slightly smaller piececount.
As always, I recommend LEGO because they have the best customer service of any toy company I have found and you can buy extra pieces for your collection (there are some exceptions due to licensing agreements - especially with branded sets like this one). But, the price-tag is well worth knowing you have genuine high quality LEGO bricks"
