The set comes with a detailed booklet for constructing the set, and she had no problem assembling everything without help.
Her favorite part is the animals (cow and sheep). When assembled, there is a pen for the animals with a movable gate.
There are a variety of features to the assembled set - a farm, water, tree, torches, pen for the animals, etc. It also comes with a Steve, Skeleton, and a pumpkin.

He did struggle with putting the track part together but a baseplate really helped when putting it together. It would fall apart and at one point he had it backwards.
