I personally love furniture with simple design. As long as it has storage features or other function such as lift-top, then I will consider it.
I always found that a furniture with simple design easy to matches with other things surrounding it. And the second reason is that, the price seems like slighlty lower than those beautiful craft furniture; correct me if I am wrong.
Although the dark brown coffee table as shown in the picture looks simple but it actually was designed to blend effortlessly into a variety of living and family room settings. Its measurement is 44 x 22 x 18.5 inches. One of buyers said:
"Easy assembly - just attach the legs. Clue is to pull the the drawer out fully so you can get you hand in to start the bottom bolt. Recommend a ratchet driver with a hex head to fit the bolt head. Easier faster and less pain in the hand."
It is my cup of tea until I found out that it only has one functional drawer on one side, there is a false drawer on the other side.

This dark brown coffee table with two drawers is more fulfill my needs.
It features plenty of open and closed storage space. Two real drawers are great for me to keep things out of sight. The bottom shelf offers extra space for odd size magazines or any other items to keep table top clutter-free.

First, Amazon had the Simpli Home box inside another box. The sides of the Simpli Home box are reinforced from the inside by thick paper-based stabilizers.Then, there is a layer of Styrofoam ... then, a layer of plastic-based padding ... then, the piece are literally wrapped in clear plastic!! There was not a single ship, crack, or scratch in the pieces. The attention paid to detail was simply astonishing.
Assembly and Appearance:
Assembly was a snap. (My boyfriend didn't even open the directions). And the look is delightful!!! We set it in the den with a little Pottery Barn lamp on it ... so cute! So, if you have a spare room or a basement that you wish to decorate/furnish inexpensively, this may be for you. (If you are super fussy, you may not want this for your living room or master bedroom ... but it is still phenomenal for those lesser used spaces)."
